My Reactions

It is glad to see that in Mainland China various seminars have been organized by foreign institutes and world- famous LC experts, such as IIBLP(LC Annual Survey), Gary Collyer, T.O.Lee, Soh Chee Seng, and Fung King Tak (HongKong, China). Those seminars were held frequently and focused mainly on LC matters, laws and case studies as well as trade financing matters for the purpose of keeping China updated in the LC and trade financing world. That is why, in my opinion, China got itself equipped so well with LC expertise within so short time. Many bankers, judgers, lawyers and traders participated, benefited, improved and updated. Many seminars and workshops were organized through ICC China (http://www.icc-china.org/), which must be the biggest importer in Mainland China of seminars and workshops from abroad.

My Suggestions

A participant, in my experience, should be familiar with the topics to be covered by a forthcoming seminar and be prepared well in advance with queries, because besides listening another important task is querying and discussing. In so doing he will be oriented quite well in the forthcoming seminar and thus can benefit most.

My Expectations

I expect more institutes and experts to come to China through various channels to share their expertise and knowledge ,which is badly needed in the the booming economy of Mainland China .
