The top 20 include
bankers, ex-bankers, law professors, lawyers, consultants, trainers. They
excel in LC knowledge, in works and contributions. They matter in LC world
not because of their great status but because of their great contributory
role. Kim Christensen, for example, is in the list not because he is Vice
President in a bank but because he is precedent of good works in LC world.
His contributory role goes beyond the employer bank. A top LC specialist has
global vision, global mission, global contributions, global achievements. He
is not status conscious but role oriented. He is not reward oriented (not,
for example, promotion seeker in the hierarchy) but achievement oriented. He
is not self-interested. He thinks of not "me", not "I", but "you all", "they
all", "we all".
