Alan Liu is an associate professor of the
Department of Applied English at Yu Da College of Business in Taiwan,
R.O.C. after his retirement as AVP of International Department, EnTie
Commercial Bank, in July 2003. He has 30 years of experience in banking,
especially in documentary and standby LC areas. In addition to being an
instructor at TABF (Taiwan Academy of Banking and Finance), he served 4
years as Bills Department Head at Societe Generale, Taipei Branch.
Alan Liu is also holding seminars on OBU Operations
of Cross-Strait for Export and Import Association; Business Letter
Writing for International Trade Association of ROC; English Message
Drafting of LC Operations for both The International Commercial Bank of
China (ICBC) and Bank of Taiwan (a government bank); Standby Letters of
Credit and Frauds for Bank of Taiwan.
