Lakshmanan Sankaran is a B.Com, 1st class, CAIIB and CDCS. He has PG
Diploma in Export and Marketing Management. He has more than 29 years of
experience in large, multi national banks in New Delhi, India and Dubai,
UAE. He has spent over two decades in Trade Finance.
Laxman is currently Executive Manager and Head
of Trade Finance at Commercial Bank of Dubai. Laxman was previously Head
of Operations, Dubai for National Bank of Fujairah and Head of Trade
Finance at BNP Paribas, New Delhi.
Laxman is a certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor. He
has attended specialized training programs, focusing on different
aspects of International Trade Finance, in New York, Zurich, Singapore,
Hong Kong, Mumbai and Dubai. He has extensive experience in handling
Trade Finance related Frauds and managing Operational Risk. Laxman lists
as his special strengths - Problem Solving, Providing Solutions,
Re-engineering, Change Manager, Project Management, Leading and managing
large Teams.
