JIN Saibo is a partner in Beijing Zhonglun Law Firm and an LL.M. Ph.D. candidate who started practice in 1993. He specializes in banking law, international trade law, arbitration and civil litigation. He acts as legal counselor for several top Chinese banks. His expert opinions have been accepted and referenced by the Supreme Court of China, High Court of Fujian Province, High Court of Jiangsu Province, and High Court of Shanxi Province. He has also given lectures to the High Court of Beijing, High Court of Guangdong Province, and High Court of Inner Mongolia Municipality, and High Court of Shanghai. His Letters of Credit Cases Analysis lecture has trained over 8000 bankers and 500 judges in China.

Jin is the author of The PRC Letters of Credit Law and Commentary on Leading Cases (2002, 2003), The Letters of Credit Law and Practices, A Comparison of Rules of the United Kingdom, United States, Germany and China (2003) and is also co-author with other senior judges of The Theory and Practices in Letters of Credit Litigation in PRC (2003) and The Surety Law and Cases Materials in PRC (2003).

He is a commissioner of the Banking and Securities Commission of the Chinese National Lawyers Association, and serves as the director of the Task Force for drafting The Guideline of Letter of Credit Litigation in China. He is an arbitrator of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), and has assisted CIETAC in drafting the Arbitration Rules on Financing Disputes, and is the vice president of the Special Arbitration Commission on Financing Disputes Resolution of CIETAC. 2004, he was admitted as a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration on February 2004 (MCIArb).
